im looking to get a new point & shoot camera before i go to colombia. i want one that takes really good quality pictures unlike the one i have now..with video/sound & possibly stop motion film option?

also..i dont know if these exist, but ones with a manual focus lense would be ideal…which pretty much defeats the purpose of a point & shoot i guess,..basically i want something small but that i can still take good quality pics/manually focus…cause auto focus can be lame…and im honestly pretty paranoid about taking my slr out on the streets everyday over there..so im just looking for the same qualities but smaller, basically….

any ideas??? halp. i have no idea. tell me about your camera!
